Our first adventures with my son Max started small — road trips across Sarawak, stopping in little towns that felt new to us. Then came Bali, for his uncle’s wedding, where he received his very first passport stamp at just one year old. From that moment, we were hooked. Life is a whirlwind of hospital shifts and family duties, but I’ve always believed in making every moment count. My husband’s flexible business schedule helps us carve out pockets of adventure, and travel has always been my way of slowing down and reconnecting. My love for travel came from my father, and it’s something I’ve passed on to my kids. Max, my oldest, got his very first passport stamp when he was only one, on a trip to Bali. I still remember the tiny shoes he wore as he toddled through the airport. Now in July 2025, it’s Ryu’s turn. Just after his first birthday, we stamped his passport in Singapore. It made this trip extra special — a milestone for him, and a full-circle moment for us as parents.
